A Little About Us

I am Joan and I run this blog. Occasionally, my husband and our children will share some of their Projects, Artwork and love for Science.

We love the simplest and little things in Life. We are open-minded. We enjoy spending time with our friends and family; we take great pleasure in learning, helping and growing as long as there’s room for enrichment.
We have a few faithful friends that we collected on our way through life. We love life and everything within; we believe in honest mistakes and we learn from them. We love harmony and wish well to everyone around us. We are not picky when it comes to relationships and we do not take sides when it comes to personal issues. Life is too short to linger on things we can’t change.

I am a conscious being in a constant state of gratitude. I stay true to my word and I love the moment. I am a free Spirit and a perfectionist who strives for difficult, yet reachable goals and my satisfaction comes from a job well done. Those who know me well know that I am hard to please, quite stubborn and overprotective. When I love, I love completely. I have a fondness for words which I use to inspire, to heal, to comfort others and to communicate with the outside World.

I have been blogging since 2005. I started with Yahoo! 360° and Windows Live Spaces until their closure in 2009 and 2011. I then moved on to WordPress.org and imported a few posts.

Six years ago we moved to the High Desert of California. When we are not at work, we are working on our Home Improvement projects. We designed our landscape and renovated our Home ourselves from top to bottom. We collect choice vintage tools as well as Home Decor pieces. We recycle, upcycle and repurpose; we create unique objects which we will share with you as we move forward.

Feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us.
We invite you to stay for a while, or should you prefer, kindly forward to a friend.
