On cold days like these I am grateful for fun projects and activities to keep kids busy.
Today we worked on my daughter’s third decorating project and we all teamed up to help her decorate her “Snow Lady,” as she calls it. Here‘s my son’s project from three years ago.
Materials/Tools Needed
Scissors
Scrapbook Scissors
Gift Bag Tissues
Crayons/Sharpie Markers
Elmer’s glue
Scrapbook Paper/Construction Paper
We had so much fun decorating her Snow Lady and getting her ready for display at school tomorrow.
I hope you ended 2015 in a positive note. For those of you who didn’t achieve your goals and/or suffered a loss; I hope 2016 will be the year for new beginnings and clarity in your lives.
All I wanted for Christmas was a cozy home filled with healthy, happy people and I got just that.
I got so many beautiful things for Christmas; but the ones I love most are a set of quilted throw faux-suede pillows. They are super cute, soft and add charm to any room. I am going coastal in my home, starting with my living room.
On December 31st, I celebrated my 15th Anniversary.
We attended church service this morning and it was great to fellowship with others and hearing God’s Word. The sermon really struck a chord with me — words of encouragement and hope for the new year. After many years of searching, we finally found a Church that we love and we will continue to attend regularly.
It’s back to school tomorrow. We all enjoyed our holiday break, now it’s time to work hard. Although 2015 ended with clear blue skies, it looks like we might get some rain tonight and all week-long.
